I think some of his jokes are quite funny. Guess some are pretty off colour though. What do others think?

I like this one today.

“I don’t work in mysterious ways because I don’t work, period.”

obnoxious, rude & whoever is posting it has an extreme leftwing political agenda

not even close

if you are able to see past the cynicism & political agenda, it can be amusing

That sounds very offensive. God works all the time. He is the source of all goodness, love, and ability to reject temptation.

I will delete it if you want me to. I don’t have a problem with it. I don’t think God would be offended either.

if it is aimed at solely Christians that is unfair.
But I think it healthy to see God with a sense of humour.

Tasteless in parts, yeah, but you have to admit some of this stuff is pretty funny, i.e.

Christian Congressman: God forgave me for sleeping with patients, paying for abortions…

TheTweetofGod: I most certainly did not, fat Vin Diesel.

i don’t know, do what you feel is right

i think it is informative to read what the “other side” has to say

At someone presenting himself as Him and saying he doesn’t work?
God works all the time.

I am fine viewing God with humor. I believe He enjoys a bit of irony, but that’s just downright wrong. It implies God doesn’t care about us, which is completely off base.

God wouldn’t call his “work” work anyway.
Who God is and what He actually does is beyond our human capacity to comprehend.I don’t see the harm tbh.

Consensus seems to be against . Fair enough.
You only got like a dozen replies, with several people writing multiple posts. Don’t sweat it. I’m definitely interested to see where this thread goes.

I think a Twitter handle for God could be hilarious if done respectfully. The problem is, everyone’s view on how to portray God respectfully is different.
