Not a problem (amazing what GOOGLE can find)…I myself are not familiar with them but looking at the website …yeah they dont like anyone!

if Allah is a pagan god, then does that make arab christians who call god Allah worshippers of a pagan god too?

Indeed. Arab Jews also call God Allah, so this list is very misleading. Yes, there was a pagan god called Allah, but that’s because of the meaning of Allah in Arabic. The moon god was called Allah precisely because it became the “big god” of the pantheon. Arab Christians and Jews were using this word to describe their deity at the same time. What the article doesn’t say is that “ilah” (“al” means “the”, IIRC) is simply the Arabic version of the Aramaic “eloha”, the word used by Jesus to denote God.

Salaam all;
Alaha” is the Aramaic word for God. Arabic and Aramaic (as well as Hebrew) are Semitic languages, which share many similarities.
Please visit This Link , go to level two, lesson 45, you will find the word Alaha with its English meaning and even an audio file if you click on the blue Aramaic word.

Jesus (PBUH) said in the holy Qur’an: " O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, “this is evident sorcery!” (Qur’an 061.006)

Salaam.
Joseph.

I would not pay any attention to this website. They make claims but with no proof and like other posteres have said they don’t like anyone it seems.

When Muslims call on Allah (SWT), they say " Ya Allah", they also say " Ela’hee" meaning “My Ela’h” meaning “My God”. For instance if I want to say " My God, how Mighty you are", I would say “Ela’hee ma’a A’adamak”. Another often used term is “Alahum’a”, to say “My God, forgive my sins” I would say " Alahum’a Aghfir lee dunubee"

The claim that Muslims worship the pagan moon god is baseless; anyone reading the Qur’an would notice that. It is only an attempt to deny that Muslims worship the Creator.

Salaam.
Joseph.

I am an arab muslim from Egypt, Middle east .

I just wanted to correct somthing here. Allah was never a pagan God .

The god you confuse it with him brother Ghost is called

“AllaT”

“allaT”

Not “allaH”

It was an idol by the Kaba

The funny thing is that i understood 30% of the words of the Passion of christ movie on my own lol. Aramaic is very much like Arabic.

I think there will be a huge problem if Jeus turned out to Worship Alaha which is Allah in Arabic . Sadly .

Peace

True , True, this sham about Allah being an idol is perpetrated long enough.

However I must say that one idol was not destroyed, this is the Al-Hajarul Aswad

Pagan Arabs very very well distinguished what is Allah and what is AllaT.

Dont just look at it like a similarity in words that can be confusing to an arab because this isnt the case.

Lets for exxample take

Mohammed
Mahmoud

they may seem alike but they are totally different names. This Moon God thing is somthing we muslims laugh about so hard really . I can understand someone trying to convince me of the trinity . But when a southern babtist person who never leaved his state comes and tell ME what I worship!!! Thats rediculous.

Any way , Hell with the moon lol i guess i cant insult the almighty moon God and say hell with him right ?!

Another thing i dont know where the hec did it come from is that some non muslim think that if a muslim is dipped in Pig blood then he wont be in heaven. It is ususally used by haters .

If all the pig blood in the world would be painted to a muslim this doesnt differ a bit . I dont knwo where the hec do they get their information. ??!!! I read all hadeeth and Quran and i never ever found somthing like that in My religion .

Btw Catholics are very very decent people. Who are true example of tolerance and love . I appreciate their love to us muslims. I think silly small minded people are the one who think that bieng agressive is somthing that can make a muslim loose hos faith .

All peopel who do insults and stuff i find them Hardline evangelical protestants sadly . when i go into catholic rooms . It is very polite rooms.

OhHH I LOVED John Paul the second . I wish we can clone this guy !!!
👍 👍 👍 🙂

Al Hajarul Aswad isnt an idol . It was never worshipped.

It was revered as a stone that God sent from heaven to be used in the Building of Kaba.

The Idol worshipper Arabs themsleves NEVER worshipped it !!

You wont find it any where in history that it happened.

Its a stone. It doesnt do harm nor good lol . Hec it was shattered to pieces by some peopel and had to be put togeather .

Peace

My knowledge of Islam is extremely limited, but I could tell immediately that the list was from some fundamentalist evangelical website. It reminded me of some anti-Catholic list, except the target was Islam instead of the Catholic Church.

Whatever valid cristicisms (if any) that may be embedded in there lose all credibility due to the nature of the website it was found on.

You are right there is no way that we can understand the nature of the stone, yet even in Pagan arab days the stone was kissed, this would show that it was indeed treated as an idol, or else why would it be kissed?

i kiss the Quran becasue i love it . I also kiss my mom and dad. I salut the flag.

Whenever i come home from travel i kiss My country’s ground.

I also Kiss the picture of my family when i miss them when i am abroad.

You are trying to make somthing out of nothing really . The Black stone was never worshipped . It was treated with reverance. This is a historical Fact.

Peace
