I think its horrible that all of these things are lumped in.

I recieve free heath insurance from the governemt. I work two jobs during the school year, I’m a full time student, and I voulenteer for the community over 150 hours a year.

I don’t have parents as many college-aged kids do, so I need extra help…without it I’d probably of lost my hearing when I had a horrible ear infection earlier this year…I wouldn’t have the money to get it treated and I don’t have a parent to make sure of it.

I’m not lazy but there are certian things I can’t provide for myself yet.

And “self esteem” is not the reason kids are messed up today…grrrr…
There are always exceptions to the rule and these services are meant for people like you.👍
God Bless you and you keep working hard.😃
What a testimony:D

I say it was out of line. He was there to offer a prayer…not to make a political statement. Maybe if he chooses to do so he should run for office and then he would have the opportunity to make political comments. Way out of line IMO…

Sometimes the only way people wake up and listen is if they are slapped across the face:(

I think more people should stand up like that. The truth really does hurt 😦

I kicked off a thread a few days ago asking the question, how do you keep religion and politics separate? This is a pretty good example of how, and why, they can’t be.

At least in the USA, politics went downhill when religion was eliminated from government.

So did the school system. I asked my mom what she thinks went wrong with the schools and her reply was “When they took prayer out of the school system”😦

I totally agree. This stuff isn’t said enough or at all without some crying about how unfair that we are pointing out the wrongs they have committed. Our country has gone down hill, since we decide that it is wrong to point out the obvious.

Thanks for the post, even if it is a little old. 👍
