Please don’t take my post as being critical. It is in no way meant to be so. I do understand your intent better though. Sometimes I read a post and read different things into it than intended by a psoter . I am sorry if it seemed offensive to you.

I was only intended to point out to Noobasaurusrex that if we take positive actions regarding situations which cause us to feel despair and hopelessness we can often feel better about the situation. Our culture is very difficult to spiritually grow in. It causes us to believe we are missing out on something. It disregards love and obedience to God as valuable to a person’s character and happiness.

Don’t fret for a moment, Dan. Your post had truly good suggestions, believe me when I say that, lol, because I would suggest the same!

Who knows, though, the OP could put some to good use.

That’s the problem with online forums, you know? How are we to determine if the OP has a true issue in areas such as school, relationships, etc? It could be that he feels he is doing poorly, but in reality has above average grades. It could be that he feels bad about not having a gf, but in reality he might not have found any girls.

Thanks for the encouraging posts, they really do help when someone has their thoughts clouded in emotions and can’t think too well. Chyna, see what I mean, you don’t even have to read the Bible but you are so secure, it’s a good thing. God has given you an awesome grace, well he has all of us, it just takes some like me a little longer to realize.

Yes Rex i do see what you mean. Though as a good Catholic i SHOULD read. Not excusing myself but the not so happy life i have does not allow me to do so just now. Though still standing by what i said, God allows me to see Him, know Him and love Him in different ways. It is one of His many blessings He has given me. Rex, i too wait for a mate and a happier life. i KNOW that God in His time shall give me this. i worry not regarding IF it will happen. i though like you do hate the waiting.
i believe that i have to go through these bad things (unsaid), i see them as life lessons. i hate not nor am i angry at that which causes me pain. i hope to one day create a place in which i can show others how i see God. i know that this is something He wants me to do and allows me to carry on.
My offer still stands, i am here if you ever just want to talk.
