Make it funny if you want. Or go the serious route.

I would love a nice trip to a day spa for example. 😃

Or a date for New Years Eve. šŸ˜‰

😃 šŸ‘

I already got my present (because DH and I were shopping this past weekend and we found it on sale w/coupon) which is a 7 qt Calphalon hard anodized sauteuse pan. Although, it goes under the tree so I won’t be using it until after Christmas.

DH is getting a new chain saw, which we also purchased this weekend.

I have a few other smaller things on my list of ā€œwould like to haveā€ including some other things for the kitchen.

Safe travels! (We’re heading to CA for Christmas)
A puppy! (We’re actually adopting a greyhound in a few weeks, and this is our Christmas present)

My brother to finally be cured of cancer.

Oh, and an AR-15 wouldn’t be bad either.

The date for New Years’ wouldn’t be bad šŸ˜‰

Good health, and to pass my exams 😦

I wanted a Jawbone but ran to help my sister at lunch and sat on my headset so I had to get one today at lunch… guess that’s my Christmas 😦 but at least I got what I wanted šŸ‘

Joe

Cloth diapers (for the kids :D).

Square dinner plates.

Makeup.

That’s it. Oh, and to have my house completely restored post-flood, before my little boy’s first birthday in January.

I’m just dreaming here… 😃
But I’d LOVE to have my master bathroom finally finished… it’s been gutted for 8 years. :o

You’re not datin anybody right now?

To answer your question put me down for a Playstation 3:christmastree1:

In fact I’ll give y’all Debbie’s work email and you can shoot her a hint on what to get.

I would like an espresso machine. My bday is 12/15 and a spa trip would be quite lovely, too. Dinner out with hubby, just the two of us is also wonderful.

My dd likes to buy me perfume (well have her dad pay for it, she picks it out ha) I have a sample of Dolce & Gabanna’s Light Blue…yum.

I also have been eyeing the Elsa Peretti line of bracelets in Tiffany’s…but you know, I have enough jewelry, and I don’t know if it’s a silly ā€˜want.’ :o But, they are very very pretty!

As adults, should we only ask for practical gifts, do you all think?

Bama…playstation 3…stop it. Your wife will never see you. lol It’s quite addicting, sir.šŸ˜› We have to give our son a timelimit, otherwise, he’d get nothing done. 😃

My husband, who loves to cook and is amazingly good at it…wants …ugh, what is the material…not calphalon…not teflon…not cast iron…ugh, there is another material out on the market now, almost like a plastic within the pan. It was on HSN…and like $150 for 7 pieces. It was a great price. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

Hope you have a safe trip!!šŸ™‚

So y’all are NOT gonna send debbie an email about what to get me?

Ummmmmmmmmm, let me think…

NO:p**

**Practical items around here are bought on an as needed and if we can afford it basis, lol. A gift should be special and something would not normally spend money on, especially in a limited income situation (my opinion only). Hubby knows what would happen if he bought me a toaster or a vacuum for Christmas…

then there are gray areas of practicality, lol. Like, for example, purses. If my purse is falling apart and I need a new one then it falls under the ā€œas neededā€ category. But if I have a perfectly good purse and want a new one to match something, THEN it’s a gift. Same goes for things like hair care and make up. The basics are just bought as needed and something above and beyond can be a gift (yes, I have put a lot of thought into this, lol).

Also, I am totally fine with completely practical gifts from anyone other than my husband. If my parents want to get us a lamp or a vacuum or a power tool, great. useful and less money out of our pockets;)

Ok, now on to THIS Christmas:

I want hubby to come home safely and be healthy (i.e please don’t bring a cold or flu home for me and Lily!) and then I would like to win the lottery during his Christmas vacation so he doesn’t have to go back, lol. Think Santa is listening?šŸ˜›

Yes, Now all of y’all buy the Whatevahgirl a toaster for Christmas. ROFL.

I’m gonna do one of those secret search things, get her address, so y’all PM and get it, and next thing ya know the UPS guy is gonna be dropping off 10 toasters a day at her house.

We did that for a guy at the fire station that got married. I told everybody in the fire dept buy them a toaster for wedding gift. He said he knew sumptin was going on, after the tenth one came in. He told me his fiance had him running all over town taking them back.

Let’s see-Peace on Earth and some Goodwill from my 18 yo son.

Someone to find the noise in the back end of my 1985 Mercedes sw AND the $$ to repair it. (It’s way cheaper than insurance for a newer model car, esp out here in CA.)

Hm, this is our Family Reunion this Christmas. So I’d love the gift of patience. And lots extra of Dad’s pea soup to take home to have for New Year’s.

Dear Santa, I have tried to be a very good girl.
