Did I say that? I guess the first thing you need to figure out is what message you’re trying to give. I’m guessing that you want all of us to be open minded and discuss religion whenever someone knocks on our door with a new message. Is that it?De_Maria:

God is the judge of who will enter heaven. But if you find and hold on to the pearl of great price, you certainly don’t hurt your chances. See Matt 25:31-46De_Maria:

I have a friend that is a JW and she is a good person but I try to show her that even though she says that she believes that Jesus is her Lord and savior. JW’s definition of Jesus as Lord and savior means is totally different than what Christian’s believe. That why Catholics need to know there catechism so they don’t get sucked into this religion.

I read a couple of articles on JWs and I’m not really sure what do they believe.
I believe their Bible translation is accurate though.

They believe that Michael the archangel was Jesus Christ before he was conceived. Unlike Catholic and Protestant Bibles translations, which are faithful to the original manuscripts, the JW have deliberately mistranslated many parts of the Bible to fit their own Doctrine. No Catholic should ever read the New World Translation Bible for devotional reading or study.
Some twisted scripture from the nwt.
Matthew 1:23 " Look! The virgin will become pregnant and will give birth to a son, and they will call his name Immanuel, which means, when translated, with us is God “.
JW’s admit that this is a prophecy about Jesus, who is called Emmanuel ( God is with us ). Note that here Jesus is referred to as “God” not " a god” the JW say that God, with a capital G always refers to Jehovah, the one true God. Therefore Jesus, Emmanuel, is truly God.
Rev 1:8 " I am the Alpha and the Omega, says Jehovah God, the one who is and was and who is to coming, the Almighty.
Rev 22:12-13 look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, to render to each one as his work is. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning in the end.
In Revelations 1:8 Jehovah God is called the Alpha and the Omega. In Revelations 22 13 Jesus is also called the Alpha and the Omega therefore Jesus is equal to Jehovah God.
The JW and 144,000 anointed. The JW teaches that before 1935 there were 144,000 anointed after 1935 you have no chance of entering heaven. The JW can only hope for a paradise Earth.
There is no basis for this teaching of the hundred and forty four thousand. Remember, the Bible tells us that the hundred 144,000 are made up of 12000 men from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. Why aren’t the JW divided up into 12 tribes? That’s how the Bible explains the 144,000: 12,000 from each tribe.
JW’s don’t believe that man has a spiritual Soul. Rather, they hold that man is a soul. Since death destroys the man, a man is a soul, death necessarily destroys the soul. JW think that when a person dies, his soul is annihilated: he ceases to exist altogether. At the end of the world the whole person will be created again from nothing.
What the church fathers said about death.
The resurrection is of the flesh which died; for the spirit does not die. (Justin Martyr, AD 150-165
If every example of human nature is made up jointly of an IMMORTAL SOUL and the body. (Athenagorus of Athens AD 177-180.
JW’s reject Doctrine that hell is eternal. They believe that at the end of time all Wicked humans and Devils will be annihilated;: they will totally cease to exist. This belief can be refuted through reason, sacred scripture, and the early church fathers.

The Bible was fully AUTHORED by the end of the 1st Century when Catholics were the ONLY Christians.
The NT Holy Spirit Inspired Authors did not conceive of the 11th Century Great Eastern Schism or the 16th Century Protestant reformation. So at that TIME & PLACE is WAS prudent information as the “Jew’s” AND pagans greatly outnumbered the Catholics for a time of GROWTH of Christ One True Church.

No, not at ALL, just pointing out that Catholic NT Authors could nit or DID NOT foresee either even. The Great Eastern Schism, nor the Protestant reformation; as EVIDENCE that the Bible is:
1 A Catholic Book
2 A Catholic Book written and assembled by Catholics & exclusively FOR Catholics at THAT time [end of the 1st Century]
