What does a 12-year-old wear to be christened?

My two children are getting christened in the near future. They are 7 and 12. I understand young babies wear gowns but what do older children wear?
 
Whatever clothes they would ordinarily wear for church. It would be nice for them to wear white, since doing so is traditional for those being baptized, but it is not required.
