Target out of range. What does a wedding ring symbolize to you?
Target out of range. What does a wedding ring symbolize to you?
I did that with my engagement ring. No one in my family had one before. I treasure it greatly so it spent a lot of time in my jewelry box. I lost a ton of weight when I was pregnant with my son (yes while pregnant) and my wedding ring got too big. My engagement ring is smaller, so I now wear both, to keep my wedding ring on.Growing up, my parents never wore theirs so I use to think it was for the rich only. Personally, I don’t think it means a lot in the sense that I never cared to have a ‘nice rock’. And honestly, if ever I did get married, the more expensive the diamond, the more paranoid I would be about loosing it and the bigger the chances it would just sit in a jelewery box.
However, I do think it is considerate to wear a simple ban out of respect for your spouse to let the world know you are off limits

My Wedding ring symbolizes what a good catholic marriage should be.
A selfless act where your job is to forget yourself and ensure that your wife/husband gets to heaven. (Children included).
It’s why my weddinf ring is a thick white gold band with a gold crucifix on it.
Just a reminder that the love I have for my wife should be the same love that Chirst has for his church and vice versa.
God bless.

In what way? Because they are mostly sold in small shops? Aren’t WRs mass produced just like every other mass commodity?A wedding ring symbolizes entrepreneurship to me.
No, not a commodity, but two people who have the entrepreneur spirit. They come together to give what they do not have- their future. They create a family, In hopes for fruits to blossom and for their efforts To bless them…In what way? Because they are mostly sold in small shops? Aren’t WRs mass produced just like every other mass commodity?![]()
