Excuse my ignorance. I recently purchased a New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition Bible with Anglicized text. What is the distinction of Anglicized text? I really enjoy this version. Thank you.
In this context it means that the translation uses British English vocabulary. Even though the USA and Great Britain both speak English, time and distance have caused a difference in the meaning of some words and what the common word is for some things.
