The Canon of Scripture (the books of the Bible) was not decided upon until the 300’s. SO when Paul talked of all Scripture being useful for teaching, rebuking, etc, he could only have been talking about the Scriptures Jesus Himself used- the Old Testament ones!
The New Testament did not even exist per se, yet people still held church for 300 years+. How could they do that without the NT telling them how? It was passed on orally what Jesus taught.
No dot. This is the root of your error. The Word of God is Jesus. Click on the link in my signature below. Catholicism is about relationship. It is not about a book which over 90% of the Church were not able to read (because they were illiterate) for well over 1500 years.
If you continue to post in large chucks of text with no paragraphing, I cannot reply to your posts; they are just too hard to read.
We have allowed ourselves to be divided on trivial issues and have not united ourselves before the LORD. So I consider myself to be a follower of CHRIST rather than rally behind the secular portions and fragments of Church or the Church(S)
So, from a purely practical standpoint, your approach to solving problems of “division” and “fragmentation” is to dismiss the long-standing teachings of the Church which “unites” the majority of the Christians in the world?
The teachings of the Church founded by our Lord are not “trivial issues.” It is the most important institution in human history.
