I read an article from a member where they went into what it means to know and be known by God. Well I cant find it. It had to do with the OT roots Adam and Eve who knew God then after the fall they did not. It was a good article. So if you know who it might be please let me know.

Also any help now would be great. What does it mean to know God?

I think it means to know in a real personal way that God loves you with a love that can not be described. Not just knowing this in your mind but in a very deep way which will actually bring you to repentance. Not merely saying you are sorry for your sins but despising your sins and actually turning from them not just because they offend God but because his Love is so important to you that you now choose his love over anything sin has to offer.
