I’ve heard some disturbing things about some Catholics. Some say they would not deny their faith no matter what. I take this to mean that they would not lie to a murderer to save innocent lives. Is this true?
This means that they would sooner die than deny their fidelity to their Lord. This is what it means to be a Christian martyr. They would be offering their lives in response to His offering of His. It’s all about who they recognize Jesus to be. Our lives are all about Him!
