I think cannibalism is wrong. Most societies legislate against it. And it definitely seems to be dying out as a lifestyle choice, probably due to a reluctance on the part of the victims/lunch.So cannibals are moral? They too evolved through natural selection. What brings moral out of natural selection?
Regardless point being I’m looking at a perspective non religious, does atheism fit that?
When we remove religion then we are the ultimate judge of morality, so what one deems moral can easily be immoral to another. Where’s the boundary?
Religion has played a part in the development of Morality, I don’t think there is any doubt about that. But we have innate morality whether we are religious or not. Religion is not a requirement for morality. If anything a lot of religions propose very immoral conduct e.g. slavery, racism, suicide bombers.
I don’t understand the question - *'What brings moral out of natural selection? * Could you be more explicit?
