Reading about praying the rosary, it says to “announce” the whatever # mystery… what does it mean by “announce”?

Just that - you say ‘the first Joyful Mystery - the Annunciation’, or whichever mystery you happen to be praying, then pray the prayers of that decade.
This is more important when you’re praying it in a group than when you’re alone.

By “the prayers of that decade”, you mean ther Hail Mary’s and whatnot, correct?Just that - you say ‘the first Joyful Mystery - the Annunciation’, or whichever mystery you happen to be praying, then pray the prayers of that decade.
This is more important when you’re praying it in a group than when you’re alone.

Yup - Our Father, ten Hail Marys, Glory Be - and the Fatima prayer (“O my Jesus forgive us our sins …”) if you say it.By “the prayers of that decade”, you mean ther Hail Mary’s and whatnot, correct?
