What Jesus said in John 6 clarified exactly what he meant.
Did you read the whole of John chapter 6 and come to this conclusion? Or did you just pick out one verse that seems to support what you and other Protestants believe?yes you are exactly right. John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life he that cometh to me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
This represents spiritual fullness, not you eating his body. the bible is full of parables and meanings that you really have to have God reveal to you. Salvation is a free gift for all mankind. But i have got out of this exactly what I figured was going to happen. The catholic church is really the only ones they say can offer Mass or communion. So no one is really saved unless it is done in a catholic church, because every one else is doing it wrong. I am so against this. Jesus did not put a limit to his salvation and neither did he put one on Mass or Communion. This was added by Man.
You got out of this exactly what you expected to get. So did you ask with an open mind and did your read sincerely and consider the answers you were given.
I doubt that anyone said this; but it has been said that the Catholic and Orthodox Churches are the only ones that have the Real Presence of Christ present in their communion - as opposed to having bread and wine (grape juice) symbolically representing Christ. The catholic church is really the only ones they say can offer Mass or communion.
Again, I have not seen anyone saying communion = salvation. So no one is really saved unless it is done in a catholic church, because every one else is doing it wrong.
You personally are against this? And what does the denomination you belong to believe or teach about this because Catholics have been telling you what the Catholic Church teaches and what we therefore believe, not our personal interpretation.I am so against this.
Numerous scriptures have been given to you about exactly what Jesus taught about salvation and communion.Jesus did not put a limit to his salvation and neither did he put one on Mass or Communion. This was added by Man.
