Brothers and sisters, we should realise that we are not righteous by our own efforts. all of as have gone astray and we need a saviour, thats why Jesus came. these verse means that we are spiritually poor and therefore blessed are those who have accepted this reality and crave to be spiritually rich by seeking the source of spiritual richness which is THE LORD JESUS. desire the lord to fill your heart all the times. God bless you all.

How should this be read? “Blessed are the poor (comma) in spirit,” that is, their blessing will be spiritual because of their poverty, or “blessed are the (poor in spirit),” that is, one who is spiritually weak will be blessed? But why would it be good to be poor in spirit?
bless the poor in christ for they see heaven
bless the poor for they are happy (in Christ)
bless the poor for they are meek

etc

whole passage showed it isnt do with martials but christians begin meek, for they will see heaven, will be happy etc poor as downtrobben struggle in spirit
having money or lack of is not a sin either way.
poor as those who heard the word of God so bless are they…humble, begin servent before Lord. struggling spirit against earth of men, symbol the pyschical sense of meaning poor.

oh poor you! ( having to fight against evil cold)

in same sense spiritual welfare to fight.
people who dont care not borther to fight nor intrest acknowleagde in temptions and what is sins we all face.

hope that help
