What does one DO with the charism (spiritual gift) of faith?

Most of the charisms seem to have obvious ways that one can use them in a particular church ministry endeavor (prophet, pastoring, teacher, healing, intercessory prayer, etc).

I am unclear, however, in what ways that someone given the unique charism of faith (particularly in a marriage vocation) would use it to “serve God and our neighbor” (Weddell, p.7),

Hi John,

For a marriage vocation, I would say be a good husband, bring your wife and children closer to God. Few things that a family can do together to serve God are to pray together, to take them to praise and worship group at your parish, to go to Bible study class, etc … Family prays together stays together.

To serve neighbor, the family could volunteer to do things at the church - helping fund-raising, go visit elderly at nursing home, help homeless, etc…

Another important thing - don’t even think about using birth control stuff, no abortion, love your spouse with all your heart - those are the things we serve God using the gift of marriage that He has given us.

God bless.
