what does psalm 82:6 mean we are gods?

my sister is saying that she is god and then sent me a verse psalm 82:6 and jonh 10:34 please explain wha he means by we are god
 
No, we are not “gods” in the sense that God is the supreme being and the source of all. We are, however, made in the image and likeness of God. We can love and make free choices.

The Psalm verse in question is a reference to the judges of Israel who, since they exercised the divine prerogative to judge were called “gods." In the Psalm the judges of Israel are being condemned by God for their wicked judgments and God is reminding them that they shall face Him at the ultimate judgment. In the Gospel of John, Jesus is pointing out the hypocrisy of the Jewish leaders assuming the title of “god” but denying it to Jesus.
