It would be nice if there was an OE. Or a central authority that one could fall back on for consensual EO teaching where information was easily accessable.

I agree completely. If you ever frequented the newly closed Eastern Christianity forum, you might have noticed that some very prickly debates cropped up over theological issues between Eastern Orthodox posters at times, and there was no way to resolve them.

That’s why it’s hard to even know whether or not Orthodoxlurker’s position is just his own, or if it’s rooted in a wider Eastern Orthodox sentiment and doctrine.
