What does Satan do all day?

According to the exorcist, all fallen angels are quite limited but still scary smart. Even the most dimwitted demon is more intelligent than most humans. Satan was one of the Seraphim, which implies that, if he is not the most intelligent of created beings, he ranks among them. The author also mentioned that people have demons who can follow them through life, even down generations. They can share information with one another, so I guess they have a kind of spiritual information retrieval system on our history, culture, psychology, etc. If a demon wants to know something about you that can be objectively observed by other demons, then it’s possible for him to acquire that information.

One thing that I wonder about is this: if a person receives grace to overcome a sin they have a terrible time to overcome, perhaps it is not so helpful to openly admit to that, including writing it down or typing it since they can observe that too. Then they would be able to adapt their strategy. I wonder about even typing this whether one would see that as a challenge. I hope not. That book got me worried about them in the implications of some of the comments.

In the other book by Professor Kreeft, he mentioned that you can will your guardian angel to access your thoughts. So I have done that. I don’t have anything to hide from him, and hopefully that offers more protection against them.

When you change your clothes, your guardian angel looks some other place…If God made us this way I don’t think is a good ideea to want him “access your thoughts”

Satan isn’t omniscient, according to my understanding,he works off of our fears, weaknesses. As another poster stayed,he is ever at the ready to pounce when he sees an opportunity.Whether it be spiritual laziness , etc.
Satan most certainly is not omniscient, if he was he would not have bothered to attempt to tempt Jesus, and he most certainly would not tempt us at those times when our own reaction to such temptation is to pray and/or make an extra attendence at Mass!

It is said/speculated that his hatred for mankind may stem from his being made aware - ahead of time - of God’s choice through Jesus to become one with lowly humanity. That it was ‘Lucifer’s’ strongly held belief that since angels seemed to be higher creations, that it was angels that should be so favoured. It is very possible that this led to a seething ‘resentment’ and rebellion, since at that time the Angels, although a ‘higher’ creation, were nevertheless not ‘perfect’. This would tie up nicely with Our Lady being depicted with Satan/Lucifer underfoot.

Agree.I actually learned this through a Catheism class I am taking for the year of faith.🙂

Why would I care that he can see me naked? Do you think demons turn the other way when you undress?

Take a look around the World and hear about the murders, violence, illness and destruction, wars of the past; these are the precise activities satan (please do not capitalise ‘its’ name for your own ‘soul and heart’s good’ as it is then invited into your life through ‘its’ means/avenues) as ‘it’ has done over the decades.

Pray The Holy Rosary three times a day; you will ‘fully comprehend’ all about ‘it’ from God our Heavenly Father and Our Holy Mother, Mary Mother of Jesus!

Your guardian angel respects your privacy…And you live your own life, by your own decisions and have your own responsibility. When people will judge the angels, will be the fallen ones…
Success is a gift from God. Our duty is to put up a good fight and to try.
