What does scrupulosity mean?

i checked the dictionary it said , ’ having moral integrity : acting in strict regard for what is considered right or proper
2 : punctiliously exact : PAINSTAKING

what’s wrong with that? MOral integrity is a good thing.

i don’t know why some say here being scrupulous is wrong.

I’m sure there are very good definitions out there but my take is that scrupolosity means that you are being anxious on whether every act you do is a sin or not.

it happens to me, very often. i often worry if something ive done was wrong/sinful, i guess maybe im being scrupulous.
but i guess its better than not having conscience even when ive done something wrong.

Here is the remedy:

whenever you find yourself in this situation, pray a prayer of praise for 2-3 minutes.

“Thank you God the Father for my family, thank you Jesus for my job, thank you Holy Spirit for my shoes, thank you God for the clothes on my back, thank you Jesus Christ for your Mother, thank you Lord for my computer,thank you lord for my gym pass, thank you lord for cell phones”

you get the point. I assure you, after 3 minutes of that, you won’t even remember what you were worrying about.
