FROI, Typhoon Haiyan may have been an opportunity for the world to help the Philippines and in a small way my family participated in that.
In Sept 2013 I helped financially My daughter a physician who was due to go on a medical mission to Bangladesh. Near the last minute she was rejected by Samaritan’s Purse because she was Catholic even though she was paying her own way, expenses and supplies. After considering Egypt, she switched to go to Mindanao from 11/1-12/1 to work in a traveling medical/surgical clinic . She was there when the Typhoon hit. She was about 100 miles away, but it was very disruptive to communication, travel etc. We learned on 11/10 she was safe. Her clinic was set up where Typhoon Pablo hit the previous December. She and two others Doctors in her group and two containers of supplies switched to help the Typhoon victims going by plane to Cebu then by boat to ormoc. It took 3 days to drive from Davao to the disaster area. The previous year my daughter’s preceptor spent 8 weeks helping the victims of Pablo. And followed up with near continuous trips to help. To make the switch they also needed additional financial support. She shared that she felt strongly that the typhoon was part of the reason she was there at the time.

Fish and land mammals are returning to once desolate areas where there was no life. It’s not a simple matter of reproduction or winged birds flying into an isolated area. That was the point that I was trying to make. When an area becomes reforested, the animals that once lived there return.

The Bible makes note of Changing Climates such as increase of Earthquakes at times
with the possible exception of things becoming hotter say b/c of fires wrought by war.

But it makes no note of what today is referred to as ManMade Global Warming theory
Since this Earth is scheduled to be replaced by a New Earth…
that puts question upon extraordinary unproven attempts to cool an entire planet. .

Well, there was the Flood of Noah, which most likely resulted in the Ice Age. And Peter states that the universe will end with fire. Beyond that. No, unless you count the seasons as “climate change.” Otherwise, it’s a man-made invention fueled by politics. The earth was actually hotter in the past during the time of the Roman Empire. We came out of a mini-ice age in the mid-to-late 19th century. So, we have been “warming up” since then, but not in the way Al Gore & his cronies attempt to convince the public of doing.
