=PunnyProtestant;7149775]Where in the bible does it say that you will go to hell if you deny God? (give me verses)
Mark 16:16 “…he who does not believe will be condemned”
2 TIm 2:12…if we deny him he will deny us"
Mat. 26:24 Concerning Judas “it would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”
Where does it say you will go to heaven if you follow God?
Mark 16:16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved”
Matt. 25:34 “Come o blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you…”
Luke 23:43 To the thief on the cross “Truly I say to you, today you will me with me in Paradise.”
John 14:1-2 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
And…If someone born in Asia grew up there and never heard about Jesus, then died at a young age (say…20), would they go to hell?
How will those be judged who have never heard of Christ? Paul tells us in Romans 2:14 “When Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accuse or excuse them. This will take place on the day when God will judge men’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.”
Those who have never heard of Christ will be judged according to the natural law written on their hearts. The last line tells us when they will be judged “This will take place on the day when God will judge men’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.”
Jesus tells us something very important. John 15:22 “If I had not come to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin”
Jesus tells us that those to whom He has not come to will not have sin. Does this mean they go straight to heaven? No, we must take all of scripture. They will be judged by the natural law. written on their heart. Everyone is given the knowledge of right and wrong… Jesus also tells us that when He does come to us , there is no excuse for sin and we will be judged accordingly if we reject Him.
Romans 10:14 “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?”
This means that we are all called to evangelize. How can someone believe in Christ if they have never heard of Christ? If someone who, through no fault of their own, has not heard of Christ their invincible ignorance may accuse or excuse them.
Also, what happens if a baby is to pass away, what happens to their soul?
If they are baptized they go to heaven. If they are not baptized we leave that to the mercy of God.
