What does the Church require in the case of an "out of wedlock" pregnancy?

I am the parent of a 19 year old girl who just informed me she is pregnant. She has been raised Catholic. I have not sought any spiritual counseling yet. What must she do to remain active in her faith?
 
Hi,

All she needs to do is go to Confession regarding the sin of having marrital relations outside of marriage.

This is not a Church requirement, but I would suggest that she consider giving the child up for adoption so that the child would grow up with a mother and a father. She and the baby are in our prayers.
