What does the Church say about embryo adoption?

My wife and I are considering embryo adoption because we have thus far been unable to have biological children. We adopted an infant about 1 1/2 years ago and we are consideriing embryo adoption because we would like our daughter to have siblings. As far as I know the Church has not made an official ruling on embryo adoption and we have considered all the moral implications, I think. Is there any official word from the Church that has been recently put out on this subject. Thank you for you help.
