Good Morning,
When among different groups of friends over the past 4 years; one person or another has announced that either God revealed their Angel’s name, their Angel told them their name, or the Angel’s name came to them - sometimes while praying. They are names like Patty, Joan, Francis, and Kevin.
What is the teaching on this new development?
Grew up Catholic; we would never have tried to learn our Angel’s name. We were taught that knowing a person’s name gave control over them. However this seems to be a new fad; and encouragement and almost competition or sensationalism among those in groups to find out the name of their Angel.
