Socialism is the taking from one group by the government and giving to another…
Its against the Catholic faith, in that if one works to attain, then they should not have it taken from them by force of government. A hundred years ago, this was seen as very wrong to the church leaders, today they are numbed to the question because the US now does it out of habit and complacentcy…
A good example of socialism is after world war two the British took the land of Israel from the Islamic, and by military force, gave it to a Jewish lead government. The British in the realization of their error, to the fact of it was being held by military force and terroristic acts dropped the situation, and the US jumped right in and took over.
IN traditional sense, Jesus came to be the King of all Men as all People came to Gods chosen people, not the Jewish alone. and they need to come to recognize Jesus as the promised Messia, their is no religious reason the land, which as the ark of the covenant have any significance, to day we have the blood and body of Christ as the covenant, or ark of God…
Gamliing, or insurance are tecnically sources of socialism, that taking from one group and given to another, but in the ignorance of socialism today, churchleaders dont know or comprehend the pitfalls and sin of socialism. Price of being in charge, but ignorant of the resposibility of being in charge.

Indeed which is also critical of unrestriced capitalism and advocates fair wages for workers, the formation of Trade Unions and collective barganing.
