What does the Church say about water divination?

Please comment on water divination using divining rods. This is where you walk along with two bent metal rods and they move together when you walk over water. It is used for finding water underground – in order to drill a well.

Is this some physical force science has yet to explain? Or is it God helping us find water? Or is it the Devil pulling us into his world?
