What does the Church teach about Chi and Energy?

I have seen presentations, through video and in person, of people using their “chi” to control objects, move the wind, water, and even light things on fire. I don’t doubt these things are actually happening, but I wonder if this power is good in the eyes of God, or does it have a dark origin?
