My Geometry teacher was asking our class if we supported it (most of us did, including me) and I was just wondering if it lined up with Catholic moral teaching. Why are you asking?
ajpircWho wants to know?
Temporary torture to get information out of someone. What do you know about it?
Line my opinion up with Catholic moral teaching on it.What are you going to do with the information?
God & the Catholic ChurchWho are you aligned with?
So it looks like a pretty clear “no” on torture I’d say.
Interrogation doesn’t mean torture. It just means asking questions, especially in the context of asking them to a hostile person.
Well, I don’t think the Holy See approved of that either…I don’t understand how enhanced interrogation like water boarding could be wrong, but putting bullets into bin Laden’s head is fine.
