What does the Gospel say about living with your fiance before marriage?

I have been living with my fiance for a short time now and plan to marry. The priest that we were talking to I think misunderstood and thought that we were not living together. The priest had mentioned about The Gospel but i do not remember what he had said. I would like more information about what the bible says about marraige. Thank You.
