What does the Magnificat: My soul magnifies the Lord mean?

Mary says this in talking to Elizabeth.
Mary has been blessed with additional grace and she is going to give birth to the Lord,
but how does a human soul, even Mary’s, “magnify the Lord”?

How does anything a human do, increase the Lord in anyway?
