After years of wondering, would someone tell me the meaning of those decals depicting a fish with the name of Darwin inside? I don’t get the connection of the Christian symbol of the fish with evolution…

The fish usually, as a joke, has legs too…
It’s a statement that the person, instead of having a “Jesus Fish”, is mocking Christianity, which thanks to fundamentalists they believe is totally ignorant, and embracing evolution instead, as if there was a contradiction.
