What exactly counts as a Liturgical abuse?

For the longest time, I thought that altar girls, recieving in the hand, and saying mass towards the people were Liturgical abuses. But now it seems that they aren’t. I’m confused…

These aren’t liturgical abuses. The following does constitute a liturgical abuse:

1. Changing the words of the prayers (Confiteor, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Agnus Dei, etc).
2. Changing the words of the Eucharistic Prayer. Changing the words of the Institution Narrative invalidates the Mass
3. Non-ordained folks “preaching the homily”
4. Liturgical Dance
5. Using glassware and other breakable materials as sacred vessels (chalices, patens and ciborria)
6. Non-ordained foiks “proclaiming the Gospel during Mass”
7. Not proclaiming the readings prescribed in the Lectionary (you must use the approved form as sanctioned by your country’s conference of bishops)
8. Excessive use of EMHC’s during the Mass
9. Celebrating Mass in a non-Christian place such as a synagogue or a mosque (yes, it’s in RS)
10. Using invalid matter for the communion “bread” and grape juice in lieu of wine.
