Hi everyone. I just had to share this. This morning… we arose to gray skies and the threat of thunderstorms. My mother and I both prayed, that it would stop… so we could get to Mass. It didn’t stop. It continued to pour buckets and buckets of rain. And I began to wonder, if we were going to miss Mass… yet again, because of bad weather.

But something inside of me, clearly said: “Trust”. And so, we continued our preparations for Mass. As many of you know, this wasn’t an easy decision to make… because my mother is extremely disabled and getting her outside, into the car and in (and out) of the Church is a major undertaking. We don’t have a garage, and must park our car outside, under the open sky.

As we stepped out onto our covered porch, it continued to POUR. I locked the front door, and turned my attention to helping my mother. (This is true, so help me). As we stepped off the porch, into the open… it STOPPED raining. It was as if… a water spigot had been shut off. The moment we got INTO the car, the pouring rain began again.

For the rest of the trip, out… I was able to get us underneath some sort of covering… where the rain didn’t pelt us. But for that ONE brief moment, from our front door to the car (where we would have gotten soaked)… the Lord showed us His Mercy, in a pronounced way. I just wanted to share with everyone. 😃

I would love to hear what God did for YOU today! 👍 The recent thread by “GodsPrincess” inspired me to be more aware of His goodness, to us… even in the smallest things. Hence, I noticed His “answer” to our prayer, this morning. He truly loves us!

(P.S. It stopped raining when we got home, as well. Just long enough to get my mother INSIDE… also, without getting wet. Thank You, Lord).

What God did for me today was tell the guy behind me at the coin counting machine that the extra $100 that he got wasn’t his, but mine! 😃

And… it occurs to me… (hopefully, not “too late” 😊 ) that after thanking Our Lord, for what He did for us today… that I should now ask… “And what can I do for YOU, Lord?”

Dear Marie,
Thank you for sharing your story. It touched my heart until my tears almost fell off. Because lately I felt dryness of my spirituality. But it always raises my spirituality when I heard/read/ been told how God loves us very much.

God bless

Dear Wina… God is holding you in His Heart, always. He knew each and every one of us, from all eternity. We are all precious in His sight. Thank you, for your response. 🙂

he’s smashing down my supports and slowly showing me how to be called worthy to call me his son.

It’s going to be hard, frustrating, and interesting at the same time. I made this decision for Him, it’s time I made good on my promise to Him.

I went to a different church this morning, one that has perpetual adoration. My intent was to pray the Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament, but not attend Mass as I needed to go to confession and it is devestating to me to attend Mass when I cannot receive the Eucharist.

What God did for me today was…planned for it that I should attend a church that offers DAILY confessions before Mass!!!

I literally left the confessional as they were singing the opening hymn and I sat down in the pew and wept at God’s grace and mercy. He is soooooo good!

Hello **MarieVeronica, Katie1723, wina, Archus, kristie_m, ** and all conversationalists in this thread:

What beautiful stories and praise you all are sharing … Thank you so much and especially MarieVeronica for starting this thread! 🙂

My small story from July 11th: I was feeling a bit discouraged but went to the Adoration Chapel. On my way in, I saw some purple coneflower echinacea plants, which I love, and thought about how I should have brought my camera, and remembered how a friend of mine had posted this flower on a website several months ago to make me feel better. Well, right after I returned home from the chapel, I logged onto the website to discover that my friend had chosen that very day to post more purple coneflower pictures. When I let her know how timely it was, she answered that God had put it on her heart to post the pictures when she did. 🙂

Phoenix, how wonderful story too. It touched my heart too. I can see that sometime we can’t see how God loves us because we never try to look at on those little things in our lives. But when I read all these stories, I can see that often God shows His love always in our lives in little things.

I love you all. My tears is falling down because I can feel how God loves us very much…hope that you don’t think that I’m too sentimentil…🙂

Thank you, thank you… one and all… for sharing your witness to Our Lord’s awesome GOODNESS in your daily lives. I pray that all of us will become more aware of His love and goodness. And that this awareness will inspire each of us, to ask Him… “Lord, what can I do for YOU?”.

“Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” (1 Samuel 3:9)

God bless. 🙂
