In Genesis 5:24 we read about Enoch: *“And he walked with God, and was seen no more .” This seems to mean something special, not a normal death. Was he assumed into heaven?
Dt 34:6 says noone knows where Moses’ grave is; and he later appeared with Jesus at His Transfiguration. Was he also assumed into heaven?
Elijah also appeared with Moses and Jesus, and of his last moments we read in 2 Kings 5:11 that he was taken up into heaven in a whirlwind. He doesn’t even seem to have experienced death.
Yesterday’s great Feast had set me thinking about this subject!
