If I had to guess, and I am only guessing here, I would imagine the thread was deleted because it appeared to criticize an approved celebration of the Mass. I am not saying your post did, but I think that some of the posts could be construed that way.

Again, this is only a guess.

Gotcha, thanks for the feedback.

Just for info, there are certain subjects that will amost invariably cause arguments, disruptions etc etc and can become highly heated and controversial. Unfortunately, Life Teen is one of them. SSPX threads are also historically pretty ripe for dissension, although I must say a lot of the anti SSPX rhetoric that used to spring out on those threads quieted down somewhat during the Papacy of Pope Benedict. Threads on the Neocatechumal movement were generally in that group as well.

Probably the biggest of them all was the subject of the Charismatics.:bigyikes:
Those turned ugly quickly.

Real quickly.

So if the thread was moved or disappeared don’t worry. The moderators are pretty good about knowing when to shut a thread down, move it or do whatever else needs to be done.

It could have been moved because “Life_Teen” Masses are not what you could call Traditional Forum material. Have you check on the other forum categories?

Chances are your thread was deleted due to it pitting the founder of Life Teen against the founder of SSPX.

This was entirely my fault and I have apologized to the moderator privately but will also do so publicly if this post is allowed to go through.

What I said was uncharitable and got the thread removed. I hereby apologize to all for my unkind comments.

😦

Yet people often try to insert some refernce to it here for whatever reason.

Better forums for questions about LifeTeen would be Liturgy and Sacraments, and Catholic Living.

But, yes, it does tend to be controversial. People on both sides have… strong feelings about it. 😉 You might want to begin and end with a plea to keep things charitable, and on-topic. Sometimes it works!

I suspect it has more to do with the subforum you chose.

The Traditional Catholic forum is heavily moderated, and rather than, you know, move misappropriated threads, the moderaters here just close them down.

A thread about lifeteen masses is more suitable for Liturgy and Sacraments, not Traditional Catholicism. There’s a sticky on the top of this subforum with a list of suggested topics which are appropriate.

That helps, thank you. I’ll stroll over and see what’s going on.
