What happens if a Christian does not confess his sin to a priest? Can non-Catholic Christians confess their sins to a Catholic Priets?

Why would they even want to? The overwhelming majority of non Catholics see the sacrament of reconciliation as being sacriligeous at best and blasphemous at worst. They say it is totally non biblical and that no man can forgive sins.What happens if a Christian does not confess his sin to a priest? Can non-Catholic Christians confess their sins to a Catholic Priets?
So I say again, why would they even want to?

Anglicans, some Lutherans and some Methodists confess to their priests or pastors. Their priests and pastors do not have valid orders, so it isn’t “real” to us but they think it works.
Presbyterians have something called a session, usually but not always men, which is a group of people who help the pastor run the church. If a person has sinned suffciently for the session to know about it, the session is supposed to schedule well, a session, or appointment, for the person to come talk to them about it before one of the holy communions that church offers- only from once a year to once a quarter or so. The session looks to see if the person is repentant, and tells the person what they must do before they can again be admitted to receive holy communion. They don’t worry about venial sins.
Everybody else seems to think they have a direct conduit to Jesus (which they do- we all do) and don’t need what they call “an earthly mediator” (not such a good thought). As palmas told you, some think if they sin, they should go right to Jesus and then make restitution if they can, otherwise doing their best to forget about it. Still others think once they are saved, they are always saved, and while sinning isn’t acceptable, they don’t worry about it if they do.
Still, some have reinvented confession by having what they call “accountability partners”. This could be a pastor, but is more often just another person. They tell that person their sins, and the person gives them advice to overcome it.

Yeah I was going to mention that, a lot of the evangelicals I know either do accountability with each other, or one of the church workers (usually not the main pastor/elder). No replacement for sacramental Confession but for non-Catholics it has got to be better than nothing, plus it shows they have more of an inclination to the Catholic Church practices than they may realiseStill, some have reinvented confession by having what they call “accountability partners”. Yep, it is usually not the main pastor, but they have like cell groups, and each cell has a person who has been appointed to do this.Yeah I was going to mention that, a lot of the evangelicals I know either do accountability with each other, or one of the church workers (usually not the main pastor/elder). A non-Catholic Christian does not have access to the Catholic Sacraments. (except in specific rare circumstances) They do however do have the ability of entering into full union with the Catholic Church and therefore making access to the Sacraments possible.What happens if a Christian does not confess his sin to a priest? Can non-Catholic Christians confess their sins to a Catholic Priets?
What happens if a non-Catholic does not confess his sins in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, knowing full well about the Catholic Church and has the ability to become united to her, but refuses?
It is quite possible that they are lost, but only God knows for certain.
