What happens to Catholics who

commit suicide? I know it is a sin but do they have a regular funeral mass? Are they not permitted to have funeral masses?

No I was just curious. I know the viewpoints on mental illness and whatnot have changed over the years.

It seems that they may have a funeral Mass. I went to one for someone who did commit this act after he murdered his wife.​
