Why do you assume that homeless people cannot go to Mass or to confession? Most urban dioceses have churches in areas where homeless people gather, and Catholic social services in large cities often reaches out to the homeless by providing a full range of spiritual and corporal necessities to them. The souls for whom you should be concerned are those who would seek to prevent homeless men and women from attending Mass or going to confession alongside those who are comfortable and “presentable” (cf. James 2:1-10).
