What happens when you break a statue?

While lighting my altar candle, I accidentally knocked the statue of the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus. Their heads came off but my husband managed to fix it with strong glue. Are there any prayers to be said for this? Do we need to get the statue blessed again? Will anything bad happen to my family?
 
Please relax. These things happen. I have a statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel that has fallen off a bookshelf several times, nicking the nimbus surrounding the child Jesus’ head. To fear that “anything bad [will] happen to [your] family” because of this reveals a certain amount of superstition that I encourage you to work to divest yourself from.
