So today, I went to clean my flash drive of all its files, including the music on it. I go to the local library to use their computers to see if I can’t get a copy of Windows 10. Well, we’ll have to wait and see about that. Anyway, I brought my headphones. I instinctively listen to the music I always string with me wherever I go, yet I just cleaned my flash drive… as stated.

Anyway, I instead boot up some Final Fantasy VI music on Youtube as I have always been fond of its original soundtrack, and it fits PERFECTLY to what I am doing now! What a wonder. It’s practically narrating my mood right back to me. So these little things I take to mean from God that I am doing something good… These little things often come in moments of downtime where I feel the temptation to slip into despair over the time it takes to live my life – time passes slowly for me, but maybe for the better.

Anyway, aside from my little story, do you have any little things that play out just right so as to appear as a little gift or blessing from God? 🙂

I get that all the time. Synchronicity. Once in a while I don’t get them for a few hours, but that’s maybe just because I don’t notice. I don’t know whether it’s about “randomness” or “pattern matching” or “Holy Spirit” but whatever it is, I like it. Plus it seems like today is always the Best Day, and then it gets better. Because as God becomes more omniapparent we grow into a better day before it even happens. It’s like we can witness ourselves becoming more patient, peaceful, and producing much spiritual fruit.

Like a while ago, I was looking at a cartoon of a dog on top of a mountain dressed like some “mountaintop guru” and the caption was, “be still, and know that I am Dog.”

Then I logged into Facebook, and a friend had just posted a meme, “be still and know that I am God.”

That may seem silly, but it can be something funny, something sad, something anything. And they so often bring to mind an event or parable of Jesus or of a writing of Paul.

Fully agree!

There are just so many little things that happen in any given day. To me, they are proof of His existence, and of all the things he does for me, for us, daily.

Blessings,
Stephie

To me being able to get a chance to go back to the fire department after a 3 year absence.

Every day is a personal miracle for me from God. I don’t have any serious illnesses but I recognize His Hand in everything around me and in all actions that occur.🙂

He has given me his Holy Spirit, and saved me from all condemnation. I am free as a bird, alive in Christ, one of his Beloved Sons, as you all are. I have the power to work miracles if the Lord wills me to, for the sake of His Glory, as you all do. My soul has conformed to the image of Christ, and my heart is light as a feather, as yours may be but definitely will be. It is no longer spiritually possible for me to sin, well yes, the possibility exists, and it exists because of Love, so I could theoretically sin deliberately if I was not created in His Image, but this is not the case, since I am created in His Image. So this post that I am writing is not coming from myself, but from the Father that is working through me. See y’all in Heaven.

Agreed.

Waking up everyday, is a gift, a gift that i sometimes take for granted I might add. And I of all people should not, I have Lupus and PCOS, but my Lupus is in remission, and my PCOS is under control and am even getting my weight under control. But I thank God every day for my illnesses, these are the cross I bear, but He makes them light. Yes, I have neuropathy in my hands and feet, yes it is hard to walk long distances, and sit for a long time, but I am so so lucky compared to so many people who are confined to wheel chairs. I have nothing to complain about!

I was originally going to say God had not done anything for me. But then I realized that I have this little room where I live. And yeah, it’s not much, but it’s more than I deserve. I guess you could say God let me hit bottom. Then He helped me find a way to this little room. And now I have a job. And now I guess I should let other people post here too.

Peace.

I know for a fact God intervened in my life, in a HUGE way, back in Jan of this year.

I have mentioned this on here a few times, but I had a serious addiction to heroin and other opiates up until Jan 2015, it was taking over my life, I was spending 98% of my paycheck the hour I withdrew it from the bank every week, only kept enough to keep gas in my car and small amount of food, I was very close to loosing my job and my life.

So on a day in early Jan, I woke up and just like any other day, my first thought was how I can get drugs today, I came up with $150, and contacted my dealer, they told me they would be able to meet me around 2:30 that day, around 2pm, I texted them asking where they would like to meet, no reply, I kept texting, calling, nothing, finally at 10pm, I figured something was wrong, so I drove out to their house, there was a sign taped to the front door that read ‘drugs are no longer sold from this house, call the Northern KY drug task force for more information’.

I went home and saw on the internet they had been arrested around 1:30 that day, while meeting another customer in a parking lot. If this had happened JUST ONE HOUR later that day, I would have been arrested!!

A few months later, they were convicted and received 15 years for trafficking.

This event also was the thing that got me clean, I was able to get into a treatment program in mid Jan and continue successfully to this day, I am happy and drug free now, I look back and cannot believe the mind set I was in back then, I am a different person now.

I think about this each morning when I wake up and thank God he intervened when he did, he literally saved my life, I have NO doubts.

God Bless the angels on the Northern KY Drug Task Force! Through their intervention, another soul has been saved. Thank you God for sending them to bust that dealer. Hopefully, His miracle continues on and others will reject their addictions and turn to the Lord. :gopray:

Hey man that is such a great story. It is really neat to hear. It’s sort of like my own drug and alcohol addiction. I knew it was ruining me, but I did nothing about it but just let it take over. I lost my job(s) because of it. The only thing that set me straight was that my ex-wife got hit by a drunk driver. It did such bad things to her I could not believe it. I mean she was such a beautiful person and suddenly she was a wreck. And all I could think of when I heard about it was how easily it could have been me who had done it. How easily I could have been that drunk. I mean I’m not saying that I quit that minute, but it started the process. I mean I quit drinking a couple years afterwards because of that. It kept coming back to me.

And I’m happy to say that I’ve been sober and off E for about 6 months now. I had to change where I lived and everything just to keep clean. But I did it. And I’m here now. So I’m with you man. And I’m proud of you. Because I know it isn’t easy. At all.

Peace.

What a wonderful lot we are.
Sorry. Didn’t mean to bring this thread down like that. Sometimes I just say stuff without thinking it through. I’m really sorry about that. 😦

No, haha, it was meant as a joke. I was happy yesterday when I posted that. Maybe it was an off color joke.

Ok. I mean at first I read it that way. But then I saw it a different way. Sorry about that. I guess that means I’m sorry for being sorry? 😉
