What have you learned from assisting at Mass?
We can learn through the liturgy, not just from a sermon.
When I was able to assist at a Traditional Latin Mass I was surprised that we knelt during the Creed for:
“… Who, for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven. (Here all kneel.) AND BECAME INCARNATE BY THE HOLY GHOST OF THE VIRGIN MARY: AND WAS MADE MAN. …”
I had always thought that we would kneel when we mention Jesus’ death (and resurrection). To kneel for His incarnation made me realize what an incredible thing it is for God to become one of us! That came after almost 40 years as a Christian.
