What have you received

one of the promises of the divine mercy chaplet is (this is just from memory -not word for word perfect)…that through the recitation of the chaplet you can ask for and recieve anything if it is gods will…

my question is has anyone on this forum “asked and received” through the divine mercy chaplet

Well, I’ve received peace and strength to deal with a job I hate and deal with a very difficult financial situation. I keep going everyday and I don’t know how I do it – so I figure it is some unseen strength that isn’t my own doing. I don’t pray the chaplet of Divine Mercy to get things though (I’m sure you don’t either) – but I have found that since praying it devoutly I’ve been able to be stronger for those I love and those around me who need encouragement in their faith. Most of all though it has brought me closer to Jesus, which is the best thing! :bowdown:

Well, although it hasn’t happened yet, ever since I heard what Jesus told Sr. Faustina regarding receiving what we ask for (as long as it conforms to the Father’s will), I pray the Chaplet for the conversion of my entire family to the Catholic faith. I also pray for our friends that have fallen away from the Church.

Sounds like a pretty miraculous thing I’m asking for, but it makes me pray “JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!” all the more fervently.

I believe that anyone who prays the Chaplet receive either something for himself and/or for anyone out there. He/she might not recognize what he/she receives right away, but in time, he/she will.

So, don’t be discouraged if we haven’t seen anything visisble to us. We can ask for one thing, and God provides something else which later leads to the things that we had asked for.
