I have been eyeing the Gauze Cotton Teichel for quite some time.
I have this one in black, but it is not cotton, it is a polyester I think. But it is identical otherwise.

I didn’t like how I felt that it made me look bald because it drapes very closely to the head - the chiffon is very drapey. But that does not mean that it would not look great on anyone else - it certainly looks gorgeous on the model!! And cotton may drape more nicely.

I do have to say that her stuff is VERY well made, the one I did order at least. The cording was all hand stitched to the veil, I was quite impressed.

Black lace mantilla in the summer and spring. Fall and winter, I go for a black scarf worn hejab-style – which worries my father since he’s afraid someone will mistake me for a Muslim and give me trouble, but especially in the winter, I pop a black fedora over it. And sometimes I just wear the fedora.

I have yet to start wearing a head covering on a regular basis. I still have memories from childhood when I often wore a scarf tied under my neck. It was definitely unbecoming.
I would like to thank the women who included sites that show a variety of ways to wear the different head coverings. While I do not see myself wearing a snood, there are enough ways of wearing the different types of scarves that a person could find something.
My hair has grown long enough to French braid. I regularly wear it up.
I have a blue-grey beret and a blue/brown plaid cap.
