I’ve never been through any of the sacraments at the church, i’ve attended mass a couple of times and I always wanted to eat the bread. Would that be a bad thing?
Yes, that would be very bad. It would be sacrilege.I’ve never been through any of the sacraments at the church, i’ve attended mass a couple of times and I always wanted to eat the bread. Would that be a bad thing?
Receiving the Eucharist you would receive the Body and Blood of Christ however it would be of no effect for you since you are not Baptized and therefore cannot receive Sacramental Grace. Doing so intentionally since you carry Original Sin on your soul would offend Christ.I’ve never been through any of the sacraments at the church, i’ve attended mass a couple of times and I always wanted to eat the bread. Fisheaters.com is a good website, if you’re well aware of the dangers of Ultra-Traditionalism, might I suggest that until she has grown further in the faith she confine herself to EWTN.com and other such faithful rightwingers?Yes, that would be very bad. It would be sacrilege.
Go to the pastor of the parish and get enrolled in RCIA or catechism class. If you do start RCIA, I advise you to read and study as much as possible on your own. Some RCIA instructors, from what I hear, are not very well informed themselves.
