What if I convert and I am married to a divorced woman?

I am considering converting to Catholicism. My wife and I were married in a Baptist church and she was previously married. Her husband abandoned her for someone else. Will the Church be able to convalidate our marriage? Does this mean that if we convert we will never be able to take communion? Can we convert at all? In case it is important, neither of us have ever had any children.
