In my opinion though, if Isaiah 53 is about Jesus, then the end of Isaiah 52 must be about him as well…
13 See, my servant will act wisely ** ;
he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.
14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him [c]—
** his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man
and his form marred beyond human likeness—****
15 so will he sprinkle many nations, [d]
and kings will shut their mouths because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
and what they have not heard, they will understand.
The problem is that Jesus being disfigured is not in any of the gospels. In 53, it seems to be talking about the same person…look at 53:2
53:2 " He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him."
Actually, these verses are frequently cited as prophetic of the Passion - not least notably in Handel’s Messiah.
We don’t have any evidence from the gospels that Jesus was anything special to look at. He had to be pointed out to people, including those who came to arrest Him. And certainly by the time of the crucifixion, after a long night of being abused, he was not beautiful or majestic-looking.
