My 7 year old granddaughter is anaphylactic allergic to wheat and many others foods and is just starting CCD classes, we would like to know how she can receive communion? Even a minute amount of wheat can cause an anaphylactic reaction. If receiving the Blood is an alternative does her mother need to talk to the priest?

Thank you for any help you can provide
