What if someone wasn't really baptized, but thought so?

Let’s say someone was “baptized” but the priest either didn’t have the right intent, didn’t say the words in the right form, or something else that would invalidate the sacrament. What would happen to the soul of this invalidly baptized person who went through life assuming they had been validly baptized?
 
Baptism of desire and invincible ignorance would come into play.
